Calling all dogs from St. Catharines and Niagara. I’m looking for 10 amazing pups to feature in the Tails of the World v.3 book!
Tails of the World: This Book is a collaborative project from professional pet photographers all around the globe. We’ve united to help raise funds for pet rescues and spread the joy with beautiful photography and heartwarming stories. 100% of proceeds from sales of the book as well as session fees will be donated to animal rescues. To date the coffee table book has raised over $95, 000 for animal charities. (watch video below to get a peak inside the Tails Book from 2023). Niagara pets & their people raised $1,592 for Tails of the North Dog Rescue last year!

You’re totally aware of the incredible joy and love your pup brings into your world. You can’t imagine a world without her. Join the Tails of the World movement! 100% of the session fee proceeds are donated to Tails of the North Dog Rescue, with that you receive a custom photoshoot with Two Saints Photography AND your dog will be included in the Tails of the World Book. This beautiful book is a celebration of pets around the world. 100% of the book proceeds are donated to Geelong Animal Welfare Society.
Tails of the North Inc. was founded in 2022 by a tiny team of harmonious animal welfare advocates. They are a foster based registered charitable rescue operating in the Niagara region. They work with committed foster homes, volunteers, local veterinarians, and trainers , providing loving temporary care for dogs in undesirable situations. Since May 2022 they have successfully adopted 48 dogs into their forever homes. Dogs come from Canada, USA, Bahamas, Mexico, and Dominican Republic.
They strive to create a nation where dogs are treated with solicitude and respect.
They are 100% volunteer run.

GET INVOLVED!
– Selected Participants pay a $100 non-refundable Session/ registration fee, 100% of fee is Donated to Tails of the North Dog Rescue
– 30 Minute on location photoshoot with Two Saints Photography
-The session is for one dog
-Dogs MUST be dog and people friendly ( if you have a reactive dog or dog that doesn’t do well with other dogs/people you can upgrade to 60 minute session and we can do session in a more remote location)
-All dogs will remain on leash during the session in order to ensure safety ( leashes will be removed in photoshop)
– Inclusion (one image) in the Tails of the World Book v.3
-A viewing session to view the best images from your session and purchase artwork ( if desired)
-Prints, albums and digital files are not included, but will be available to purchase after our photoshoot. You can view my Product and Pricing Guide here. (again, no purchase is necessary)
-If you would like to upgrade to a full 90 session, you will have a choice of location and can include two dogs and thier people in the session. It would be a $200 session fee donation and you will receive a $250 product credit towards artwork or albums.
The Tails of the World book is not included with your donation. This book will be available to purchase December 2024, and 100% of proceeds from the book sales will be donated to Geelong Animal Welfare Society ( GAWS)
Pet parents interested in having their pup featured in the book should fill out an application here to be considered for the project. The 10 dogs who are selected from the applicants will pay a $100 registration/session fee, which will be donated to Tails of the North Inc. Each participant will receive a 30-minute pet portrait session with Two Saints Photography and one image in the Tails of the World v.3 book.
The sessions will take place starting in June into early August 2024 in pre-selected locations from in the St. Catharines area and surrounding region . Some of these locations will include Decew Falls, Balls Falls, Shores Park, & Niagara Parkway.
In order to get the most beautiful light the sessions will be held early mornings just after sunrise and late afternoons just before sunset.
Simply fill out the application. Each applicant will be invited to participate in an info call with me to determine their dog’s suitability for the project and their availability.
Each of the 10 dogs selected will receive a 30-minute pet portrait session with Two Saints Photography and one image ( my choice) from that session will be included in the Tails of the World v.3 book
You also have the choice to upgrade to a full 90 minute session where you will choose your location and your session can include two dogs and their people, you! You would donate $200 session fee to the charity . And , you will receive a $250 credit towards artwork or albums.
I just want to support the rescue. Do I have to purchase products?
No, you have the opportunity if you wish but absolutely no purchase is necessary.
Does my dog need to know sit?
No, although it would be helpful your pup doesn’t need to know sit or stay.
What if the weather is bad?
We will reschedule for another day.
Who can participate?
Tails of the world is open to all dogs from Niagara region and any dog willing to be photographed in beautiful Niagara.
Does my dog have to be off leash?
No, all dogs are photographed on leash for their safety and safety of other dogs. (I will remove leashes in editing stage).
Can I bring extra dogs to my session?
No, please only bring dogs that have been registered. I can be very distracting for the dog being photographed.
Where will the session take place?
Sessions will take place in a variety of areas throughout Niagara . Some parks include Shores Park, Balls Falls, Decew Falls, Niagara Parkway.
