The Tails of the World Book is a collaborative and collective effort from pet photographers all over the world. I’m excited to say that last year I joined this effort for volume 2. Each participant (professional pet photographer) choses a local dog charity to support. Each photographer photographs 10 dogs which are then incorporated into the book. 100% of session fees for every session goes to support the local charity and 100% of book sale proceeds benefit a rescue in Australia, Second Chance Animal Rescue Inc. In my case Niagara raised $1,542 for Tails of the North Dog Rescue, a local rescue to Niagara. Learn more about Tails of the North Dog Rescue here.
We even made it into the St. Catharine’s Standard. See the newspaper article here.
The first volume of Tails raised over $23,765. In this current edition, 785 dogs were photographed and over $65,000 was raised. The book proceeds for this volume went to Second Chance Animal Rescue.

Tails of The World V.3 2024
This year I worked with Tails of The North Dog Rescue again. Niagara pet parents raised $1,250 for the rescue. In total I photographed 13 gorgeous pups in a variety of locations in Niagara and in the surrounding area. It was a blast meeting all the dogs and getting to know their people. For 2024 V.3 80 photographers from around the globe participated, 16 countries and 855 dog were photographed. To date V. 3 has raised $75,402 US for pet charities. Another super successful year for contributing to pet charities. The proceeds of the book will go to Geelong Animal Welfare Society in Australia where the founder, Caitlin McColl, resides. Now, time to share some of the real celebrities of this coffee table book!
