If you’re searching this, you might be picturing a specific photo of your dog — maybe hanging in your hallway, maybe on the desk you sit at every day. Before you get there, it helps to know what a session with me actually costs and where that money goes.

The session fee: $295
Booking starts with a $295 session fee. That covers:
- A planning conversation ahead of time, so we choose the right location and look for your dog — and so I can shoot with your finished piece in mind from the very first frame. If you already know you’d love an album, I make sure we capture enough variety to fill its pages. If you’re picturing one striking piece for a narrow wall, I compose in portrait rather than landscape so it actually fits. And if your home leans neutral or warm, we can time the session to match — crisp winter tones or rich, golden fall colour — so the final piece feels like it belongs in your space, not just on it
- Guidance on what to wear, right down to colours and accessories that photograph beautifully — because I’d love for you to be in these photos too (if you like of course), not just your dog. Here’s a guide to get you started on capturing the whole pack together
- About 90 minutes of shooting time, geared entirely to how your dog is doing that day
- A private viewing and ordering appointment where you’ll see 25+ proofed images and we’ll go through them together
The session fee doesn’t include any digital files or prints on its own — it holds your spot and covers the experience. But if you spend $1,500 or more on artwork, that $295 gets credited straight back to you.

What happens after the session
You don’t choose products before you’ve even seen your images — you choose them after, once you’re looking at real photos of your dog and know what you’re drawn to. At your ordering appointment, we’ll figure out what fits your space and your budget together.
Here’s what that can look like:
- Wall art — framed canvases, metal prints, framed prints — starts at $1,200
- Digital collections — full-resolution files to keep and share — start at $1,000
- Fine art albums, handcrafted in Italy, start at $1,800 see video below
Most clients end up investing between $1,200 and $3,500 total. A few spend less, some spend more — it really depends on how you decide to enjoy your images.
A framed piece, seen in the space it was made for — this is the kind of everyday presence that turns a photo into a piece of your home.
A fine art album, page by page — the kind of thing that gets pulled off the shelf and passed around, not just stored away.

And if you’re not happy
I offer a 100% Love Your Photographs Guarantee. If you don’t love your images, I’ll refund your session fee or redo the session. No fine print beyond that.
Worth knowing before you book
- The session fee is separate from products — budget for both
- Spending $1,500+ credits your session fee back automatically
- Sessions happen at beautiful outdoor spots across Niagara (Niagara Shores Park, Balls Falls, Dufferin Islands, and more), and we can discuss and decide together which location best fits your pup’s needs and personality. I also travel to Burlington and Toronto and have no problem scouting out locations in those and surrounding areas.
- No training or perfect behaviour required — anxious, high-energy, and camera-shy dogs are all welcome, and I work at their pace

Is it worth it?
That’s up to you — it’s a real number, and you should feel good about spending it, not just talked into it.
Here’s how I think about it. A dog’s time with us is short, relative to ours. Most of what we have of them, once they’re gone, lives on a phone — buried in thousands of other photos, at the mercy of a cracked screen or a lost password. A session like this isn’t really about getting “good photos.” It’s about making sure the way you remember them isn’t an accident. It’s something you chose to do intentionally and beautifully, while they were here. I pour my whole heart into creating images that: preserve the love, the personality, and the irreplaceable bond you share with your dog and will go to the ends of the earth to find the light, the location, and the moment that makes your pet look exactly like the superstar they already are.
The pieces themselves are built to last — archival canvases, imported from Italy, fine art albums made to be opened for decades, not scrolled past once. Clients tell me again and again that the artwork on the wall or the coffee table album becomes the thing their guests stop at, the thing that makes them smile walking by on an ordinary Tuesday. That’s a different kind of value than a print you tuck in a drawer.
So is it worth it? If you want a phone full of snapshots, probably not — you already have those. If you want one piece that actually captures who your dog is, in a way you’ll still love in twenty years, most people find that it’s worth every bit of the investment. And because I guarantee you’ll love your images, the risk is mine to carry, not yours.
The bottom line
Plan on $295 to book, and a realistic total investment of $1,200–$3,500 if you want a finished piece for your walls. If you’re ready to talk about your dog and what you’re picturing, I’d be delighted to hear from you! book a free discovery call.
